Mexico without PRI

On the first of July of 2012 Mexicans voted for a President, that day I was hoping for a clean election.  My hopes vanished when I saw fraud at the poll were my mother votes, two of my friends told me that they were asked to vote for el PRI, and in return they would get 500 pesos in cash. One of my friend’s was pressured to vote for PRI with a gun.  The stories of the fraud started to appear web media. In every presidential election the powerful in Mexico decide for us; I have seen three presidential elections and I understand that Mexican democracy is a fraud. This time the powerful went too far. They imposed a virtual president on the Mexican people.

That night the country did not celebrate the victory of PRI. This had never happened, the norm is that, the people consider at least two candidates winners, so everyone is out celebrating.  People go out to the plazas until late the next morning. This year the plazas were empty.

In the past months Mexicans have organized may marches and they tend to be called marches against impositions.  If you read this article please just remember this, EPN was called by the world media president elect of Mexico.  A good example: on the American television station CNN; he introduced himself as the president elect. (2)  “This is not true” I repeat, “This is not true”. By law until the 6th of September, he is only a candidate for the presidency of Mexico. (3). If he is declared, president after this date, please remember that he was not elected he was imposed on the Mexican people by the media.

This 16th of September Mexicans celebrate Independence Day with a new meaning. Again, I hope for the elections to be cleaned and declared invalid; it’s the just thing to do. As a Mexican, you must have be blind not to have seen, deaf to no heard, senseless to have not feel the fraud.   I hope for the scream: !VIVA MEXICO SIN PRI!
